About Our Ingredients.
This is a list of all the base and essential oils we use in our products, and the properties and benefits of each ingredient.
Sweet Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E, potassium, zinc, proteins, and monounsaturated fatty acids. These properties are beneficial for increasing beard growth, eliminating dandruff, and reducing inflammation. It is very light which is great for facial hair.
Grapeseed oil has amazing skin, hair and health benefits. It contains Vitamin E, Linoleic Acid, proteins and minerals that moisturize and nourish the hair and skin. Its astringent properties tighten and tone the skin and its antioxidant characteristic prevents pores from clogging.
Avocado oil is so easily absorbed and is good for moisturizing dry, damaged hair by deep conditioning and strengthening it. Dry and itchy beards can also be relieved by applying Avocado oil.
Jojoba Oil encourages beard growth, keeps your skin hydrated, oil free and promotes hair growth.
Now on to the ESSENTIAL OILS, but first a little bit about what essential oils actually are.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Eucalyptus is a natural emollient that nourishes the follicles and stimulates the growth of your beard. It increases blood flow around the follicles to stimulate hair growth.
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Tea Tree oil has antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infection and antifungal properties. It can unclog the hair follicles to boost the immune system. It saturates your beard hair which prevents from parasitic and bacterial contamination.
Lemon Grass Essential Oil
Lemongrass oil soothes and conditions the dry brittle hair follicles, reduces inflammation, skin peeling and acts as an antiseptic on wounds. Another benefit is that is can be used as a disinfectant for the scalp or on your skin, it can enhance blood circulation and serve as beard refresher.
Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon is known for its ability to remove toxins from any part of the body, including the beard. Lemon Essential oil is a bit under the radar when it comes to beard oil,
Grapefruit Essential Oil
Grapefruit essential oil is valued for its invigorating, citrusy aroma. Grapefruit essential oil may act as an antimicrobial; a substance that destroys or suppresses the growth of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi.
Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
Cinnamon Essential Oil is an antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal and antiviral. It also contains compounds that largely increase circulation. Add this all together and you get healthy facial hair and a healthy face underneath. This all leads to faster growth with minimal to no itch or dandruff. It is the perfect addition to the many benefits already present in the base formula of our beard oil.
Pine Needle Essential Oil
Pine needle oil is rich in proteins and Vitamin E. Vitamin E, which is good for increased hair growth.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
As a natural antiseptic, Cedarwood oil can prevent the development and growth of harmful microorganisms that can negatively affect skin health.
Orange Essential Oil
Orange essential oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, regenerative, and stimulating effects, which means that it can relieve the irritation and dry skin and stimulate beard growth, and give beard a shiny look. It increases blood circulation and also promotes healthy beard growth.
And finally on to the OTHER INGREDIENTS used in our products.
Beeswax gives beard balm and oils their holding properties. Beeswax has health benefits for the beard, as it can be used to moisturize and style facial hair. Not only can it make your beard look more stylish, it can also help you curtail stray or wild hairs.
Shea butter is a natural beard softener that can not only stimulate hair growth, but ensures your hair is properly groomed. Shea butter provides a better condition for growth and can help you avoid losing hair.
Bentonite clay is a great clay that can be added to soap. It also has an amazing capacity to absorb toxins from the body making it great for oily and acne-prone skin. It is composed of volcanic ash and is a light grey colour but will add an almost greenish tint to your soap.
When sodium hydroxide is mixed with a liquid, a lye solution is created. This solution, when mixed with fats and oils, will cause a chemical reaction called saponification. The result of saponification is beautiful handmade soap.
